Apex, NC (September 5, 2020) – Around 4 p.m. last afternoon, September 4, one person was injured in a car accident on an Apex roadway.
Though few details have been released regarding the collision, police confirmed that the crash happened on Olive Chapel Road in Apex. It is believed that two or more vehicles collided with one another, leading to severe damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident where they assisted those in need. One person was injured as a result of the accident and was transported to the hospital. Their condition is not yet known.
Police confirmed that Olive Chapel Road was closed down for several hours following the collision.
At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
