Buxton, NC – Four Killed in House Fire on Cape Hatteras Ln

Buxton, NC (October 25, 2020) – Around 4 a.m. on Friday, October 23, four people were killed in a house fire in Buxton.

According to police, the fire started at 46110 Cape Hatteras Lane when a home caught on fire for reasons that are not yet known. One alarm was called in and then a second one was sounded in the area.

Paramedics and fire crews were active at the scene for an extended period of time. The fire was so severe that it caused severe damage to neighboring homes. Four people were pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. It is not known if any parties were injured.

The roadway was closed down in the area of the fire for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
