Cary, NC – Car Accident on I-40 Involving Multiple Vehicles

Cary, NC (August 20, 2020) – This afternoon, a car accident with injuries took place on a major highway in Cary, North Carolina.

According to officials, the collision happened when multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of I-40 at 1:50 p.m. Police are not sure of the circumstances that originally caused the vehicles to collide with one another but confirmed that the vehicles involved were extensively damaged as a result.

Numerous responders including paramedics, fire crews, and law enforcement officials were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted one or more victims with injuries, who were then transported to the hospital. The extent of the injuries is not currently known.
