Cary, NC (October 3, 2020) – Around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, October 3, a pedestrian crash took place at a hair salon in Cary.
According to authorities, the accident took place at Shamim Beauty Parlor at 740 East Chatham Street. Police confirmed that a driver was in the parking lot in front of the parlor when their vehicle experienced a malfunction and drove into the salon.
The vehicle caused a variety of damages to the building and injuries to the owner of the business. Though she has not yet been identified, she was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries so that she could be treated.
Police have not charged the party who drove into the salon at this time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
