Chapel Hill, NC (October 28, 2020) – Around 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning, October 28, a box truck accident took place at an intersection in Chapel Hill.
The accident, according to authorities, took place at the intersection of Fordham Boulevard and Europa Drive. The collision occurred when a box truck and an SUV crashed into each other after they entered the intersection at the same time.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. It is not known how many were injured, but the injured victims were taken to the hospital.
The roadway was closed in the area for an extended period of time. Police worked to quickly clear the scene.
