Charlotte, NC (September 15, 2020) – Around 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday morning, September 15, a car accident with serious injuries occurred at a Charlotte intersection.
Though few details have been released regarding the collision, police have confirmed that the crash took place at the intersection of Albemarle Road and North Sharon Amity Road. It is believed that two vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the exact same time. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the collision and had to be removed from the roadway by wreckers.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries, though their current conditions are not yet known.
Police confirmed that the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
