Charlotte, NC (November 17, 2020) – Around 2:25 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, November 17, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to local officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Ashley Road and Lumina Avenue when two vehicles collided. Though the circumstances leading up to the accident are not yet known, the vehicles involved in the collision were badly damaged as a result.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes at the intersection.
