Charlotte, NC (September 3, 2020) – Around 3:25 p.m. this afternoon, September 3, a car accident with injuries happened at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Charlottetowne Avenue and East 4th Street when two vehicles collided with one another for unknown reasons. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.
Numerous emergency responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were present at the scene of the accident. EMS crews assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not known. The injured victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment but are expected to be okay.
The intersection was blocked in the area for a period of time until the police cleared the scene.
