Charlotte, NC (December 30, 2020) – Around 6:40 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday evening, December 30, a car accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Charlottetowne Avenue and East 7th Street. Few details have been released but it is believed that two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
