Charlotte, NC (October 22, 2020) – Around 9:05 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of East Morehead Street and South Tryon Street when two vehicles collided with each other for unknown reasons. It is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, causing the collision. The vehicles involved were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were immediately hospitalized. The extent of their injuries is not entirely known.
The roadway was closed in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
