Charlotte, NC (October 17, 2020) – Around 2:05 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Eastway Drive and East Sugar Creek Road. The accident involved two or more vehicles that forcefully collided after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the collision. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The extent of the injuries is not yet known.
The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
