Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at Edgewood Rd and Freedom Dr Intersection

Charlotte, NC (November 23, 2020) – Around 7:15 p.m. on Monday evening, November 23, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.

Charlotte officials confirmed that the crash took place at the intersection of Edgewood Road and Freedom Drive when two vehicles forcefully collided in the area. Though the circumstances of the accident are not yet known, it is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized as a result.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
