Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at EWT Harris Blvd and Rocky River Rd

Charlotte, NC (September 17, 2020) – Around 10 p.m. on Thursday night, September 17, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.

The accident, according to officials, took place when multiple vehicles collided at the intersection of EWT Harris Boulevard and Rocky River Road. It is believed that the vehicles drove through the intersection at the same time. Police have not yet said who is to blame for the collision but all of the vehicles sustained damages.

Emergency responders including fire crews and paramedics were present at the scene of the accident. Though the extent of the injuries is not yet known, one or more victims were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time until police were able to clear the scene.
