Charlotte, NC (December 29, 2020) – Around 3:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 29, a car accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Granite Street and Continental Boulevard. Two vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The intersection was blocked for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
