Charlotte, NC (September 5, 2020) – This evening around 5:50 p.m., September 5, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to authorities, the accident took place at the intersection of Highland Knoll Drive and Ridge Road when two vehicles collided with one another. It is believed that the vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed that the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. Their investigation continues.
