Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at Intersection of Freedom Dr and Alleghany St

Charlotte, NC (October 8, 2020) – Around 7:10 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.

Charlotte officials confirmed that the collision took place at the intersection of Freedom Drive and Alleghany Street when two vehicles collided with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims were taken to the hospital with various injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known.

The roadway was closed down in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
