Charlotte, NC (August 21, 2020) – This afternoon, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to local authorities, the accident took place at the intersection of Kilborne Drive and Sudbury Road when two vehicles forcefully collided with each other. Police believe that the vehicles drove into the intersection at the same time, causing the collision. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Numerous responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision, including fire crews and paramedics. The victims with injuries were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, multiple lanes were blocked at the intersection for a period of time until police were able to clear the roadway.
