Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at Monroe Rd and Covedale Dr Intersection

Charlotte, NC (October 6, 2020) – Around 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, October 6, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.

Charlotte authorities confirmed that the collision took place when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Monroe Road and Covedale Drive. The vehicles involved in the collision allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing the damaging collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

According to police, the intersection was blocked for an extended period of time as they worked to clear the scene.
