Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at N Sharon Amity Rd and Castleton Rd

Charlotte, NC (December 13, 2020) – Around 6 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, December 13, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.

According to Charlotte officials, the collision took place at the intersection of North Sharon Amity Road and Castleton Road when two vehicles collided. Though few details have been released, it is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. Both vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The intersection was blocked for an extended period of time.
