Charlotte, NC (August 30, 2020) – Last night, August 29, multiple people were injured in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
Though few details have been released regarding the collision, it is believed that the accident happened at the intersection of North Sharon Amity Road and Monroe Road when two vehicles collided with one another. The vehicles involved were badly damaged after they entered the intersection at the same time.
Dispatchers were called to the scene of the accident around 10:15 p.m. They found one or more victims with injuries at the scene of the accident. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though the extent of their injuries is not entirely known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time until the police were able to clear the scene.
