Charlotte, NC (December 26, 2020) – Around 2:25 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, December 26, a car accident occurred at a Charlotte intersection.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of North Sharon Amity Road and South Sharon Amity Road when two vehicles collided with each other. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
