Charlotte, NC (August 27, 2020) – This afternoon, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte that led to injuries for those invovled.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of North Tryon Street and East Arrowhead Drive when two vehicles forcefully collided with one another. Police confirmed that the accident took place when one of the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide. Both vehicles sustained severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. EMS crews assisted those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked for a period of time until the police cleared the scene.
