Charlotte, NC (September 20, 2020) – Around 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
Police confirmed that the collision took place at the intersection of Remount Road and Parker Drive. Though few details have been released, it was determined that two or more vehicles collided with one another in the area after entering the intersection at the same time. The accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes at the intersection for an extensive period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
