Charlotte, NC (December 20, 2020) – Around 11:55 p.m. on Sunday night, December 20, a car accident took place in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Rumple Road and West Sugar Creek Road when two vehicles collided. Police have not commented on the exact circumstances leading up to the accident but have said that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured as a result of the collision. They were immediately hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection until police cleared the scene.
