Charlotte, NC (September 16, 2020) – Around 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Though few details have been released regarding the collision, it is believed that the crash took place at the intersection of South Hoskins Road and Hovis Road when two vehicles collided with each other. Police also confirmed that the accident led to severe damages in the involved vehicles, which had to be removed from the scene by wreckers.
Numerous responders including paramedics and fire crews were present at the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though the extent of their injuries is not entirely known.
The roadway was closed down in multiple lanes while police worked to clear the scene.
