Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at Sardis Rd and Rittenhouse Cir

Charlotte, NC (December 27, 2020) – Around 8 p.m. on Saturday evening, December 26, a car accident with injuries occurred at a Charlotte intersection.

According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Sardis Road and Rittenhouse Circle. Police confirmed that the accident happened when two vehicles collided at the intersection for reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
