Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at Shamrock Dr and Sharon Amity Rd

Charlotte, NC (December 21, 2020) – Around 7:20 a.m. on Monday morning, December 21, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.

According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Shamrock Drive and North Sharon Amity Road. Few details have been released but it is believed that the accident occurred when two or more vehicles collided after entering the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
