Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at Statesville Rd and Boxmeer Dr

Charlotte, NC (September 1, 2020) – Around 12:30 a.m. on August 31, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.

Though few details have been released regarding the accident, it is believed that two vehicles forcefully collided at the intersection of Statesville Road and Boxmeer Drive. The accident took place when both vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. Both vehicles were badly damaged as a result.

Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were present at the scene of the collision. EMS crews helped those with injuries, though the extent of their injuries is not entirely known.

The intersection was blocked in the area for a period of time following the collision.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
