Charlotte, NC (December 20, 2020) –Around 11 p.m. on Saturday night, December 19, a car accident with injuries occurred at a Charlotte intersection.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Statesville Road and Sunset Road. Few details have been released but it is believed that two or more vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
