Charlotte, NC (November 7, 2020) – Around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident occurred at the intersection of Sunset Road and Statesville Road when two vehicles collided with one another. The vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to collide. The vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. They helped those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not known at this time. One or more people were hospitalized.
The roadway was closed for some time following the collision.
Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
