Charlotte, NC (December 30, 2020) – Around 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday evening, December 30, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Sweetfield Drive and Eastfield Road when two vehicles entered the roadway at the same time. The vehicles involved sustained heavy damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
