Charlotte, NC (September 4, 2020) – This afternoon, September 4, a car accident involving two vehicles took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to authorities, the accident happened around 4:45 p.m. when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Timberway Drive and Ann Elizabeth Drive. It is believed that the vehicles involved in the accident collided after they entered the intersection. The two vehicles were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene and had the roadway cleared within the hour.
