Charlotte, NC (September 12, 2020) – Around 7:50 a.m. this morning, September 12, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.

According to authorities, the accident occurred at the intersection of Yancey Road and Yeoman Road when two vehicles collided with one another. Though few details have been released regarding the accident, it is believed that two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.

Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they helped those with injuries. It is not yet known how many were injured but the injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
