Charlotte, NC (December 18, 2020) – Around 4:55 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, December 17, a car accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at 1020 Tara Lane when two or more vehicles collided with one another. The exact circumstances of the accident are not yet known but it is believed that one or more of the vehicles lost control in the area, which led to the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The extent of their injuries is not entirely known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area until police cleared the scene.
