Charlotte, NC (December 30, 2020) – Around 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday morning, December 30, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Boyd Street and Norwood Drive when two vehicles collided with each other. It is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. Police confirmed that the vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized with injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
