Charlotte, NC – Car Accident with Injuries on Old Pineville Rd

Charlotte, NC (November 12, 2020) – Around 8:25 a.m. on Thursday morning, November 12, a car accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.

Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place between multiple vehicles at 6112 Old Pineville Road. The collision led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved and wreckers were called to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles. Police have not yet commented on the circumstances leading up to the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
