Charlotte, NC – Car Accident with Injuries on Sunset Rd

Charlotte, NC (October 15, 2020) – Around 7:30 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, October 15, a car accident with injuries took place in Charlotte.

Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place when multiple vehicles collided at 4530 Sunset Road for reasons that are not yet known. It is believed that one or more vehicles initially lost control, slamming into others. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the collision.

Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were present at the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
