Charlotte, NC (October 20, 2020) – Around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to authorities, the accident involved a hit-and-run driver. The crash occurred at the intersection of Albemarle Road and Lake Forest Road East when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the crash. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
