Charlotte, NC (September 19, 2020) – Around 12:35 a.m. on Saturday morning, September 19, a car crash took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials responded to the scene of the accident, which took place at the intersection of Ashley Road and Wilkinson Boulevard when two vehicles forcefully collided. It is believed that the two vehicles collided when they entered the intersection. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. EMS crews assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The intersection was blocked for a period of time while police worked to clear the scene.
