Charlotte, NC – Car Crash at Barclay Downs Dr and Carnegie Blvd Intersection

Charlotte, NC (September 13, 2020) – This afternoon around 1:45 p.m., a car crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.

Though few details have been released, the accident happened at the intersection of Barclay Downs Drive and Carnegie Boulevard when two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The accident led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

Police confirmed that the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
