Charlotte, NC – Car Crash at Colville Rd and Providence Rd Intersection

Charlotte, NC (December 21, 2020) – Around 2:15 p.m. on Monday afternoon, December 21, a car crash with injuries took place in Charlotte.

Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Colville Road and Providence Road when multiple vehicles collided with each other. It is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully collided. One or more vehicles were damaged as a result.

Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time.
