Charlotte, NC (September 8, 2020) – Around 12:50 p.m. this afternoon, September 8, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
The accident, according to police, occurred at the intersection of Eastway Drive and Central Avenue when two vehicles collided with each other for unknown reasons. It is believed that the two vehicles collided with each other after they entered the intersection at the same time.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they discovered one or more parties were injured. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time until police cleared the scene.
