Charlotte, NC (September 18, 2020) – Around 1:35 p.m. on Friday, September 18, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials responded to the scene where they found that two vehicles collided at the intersection of Lawyers Road and Covington Commons Drive. It is believed that the vehicles may have entered the intersection at the same time, colliding forcefully in the center. The vehicles were damaged as a result and had to be removed from the roadway.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted one or more victims with injuries, who were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The intersection was blocked in the area for a period of time so that police could clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues at this time.
