Charlotte, NC (August 21, 2020) – Around 1:50 p.m. this afternoon, a serious car crash with injuries happened at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Richland Drive and Monroe Road when two vehicles collided with each other. It is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, leading to a forceful collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
