Charlotte, NC – Car Crash at Rumple Rd and W Sugar Creek Rd Intersection

Charlotte, NC (December 21, 2020) – Around 11:55 p.m. on Sunday night, December 20, a car crash with injuries took place at a Charlotte intersection.

Charlotte authorities confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Rumple Road and West Sugar Creek Road when two vehicles collided with each other. It is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved were badly damaged due to the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
