Charlotte, NC (October 11, 2020) – Around 4 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, October 11, a car crash with injuries took place at a Charlotte intersection.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Shamrock Drive and Eastway Drive when two vehicles collided with one another. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident without checking on the involved parties. It is not known if the party was discovered by the police. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. One or more victims were injured due to the collision and were immediately hospitalized. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was closed down in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
