Charlotte, NC (December 1, 2020) – Around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, a car crash with injuries occurred at a Charlotte intersection.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place when two or more vehicles collided at the intersection of York Road and Grand Palisades Parkway. Police have not commented on the exact circumstances leading up to the accident but have said that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time until police cleared the scene.
