Charlotte, NC (September 2, 2020) – Around 1:15 p.m. this afternoon, September 2, a car crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to authorities, the collision occurred when two vehicles collided at the intersection of East 18th Street and North Davidson Street. It is not known what circumstances led up to the accident but the vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result.
Numerous responders, including fire crews and paramedics, were dispatched to assist at the scene of the collision. EMS crews confirmed that one or more parties were injured as a result of the accident and transported to the hospital.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
