Charlotte, NC (September 16, 2020) – Around 2:55 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, September 16, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
The accident, according to officials, took place at the intersection of Queens Road and East 3rd Street when two or more vehicles collided with one another. According to officials, it is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, causing the severe collision with damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to assist at the scene of the accident. Though it is not known how many were injured or the identities of the individuals, one or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in several lanes at the intersection for some time.
