Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Accident at Barringer Dr and Remount Rd

Charlotte, NC (October 15, 2020) – Around 1:55 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, October 15, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Charlotte.

According to officials, the collision took place at the intersection of Barringer Drive and Remount Road. Police confirmed that one vehicle struck another and then fled the scene of the accident. This led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved. Police did not say if they were successful in finding the responsible party who caused the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
